A Change of Scenery

We've been playing poker for the last week in the at-times chilly confines of the Radisson ballroom. Tomorrow's final table, however, will be held outside, as is the tradition here at the Aruba Poker Classic. For the first time, however, the final table will NOT be played on dry land:

Yes, tomorrow the players will be playing on a stage built over the Radisson pool. I recall a few years ago there was a WPT event aboard a cruise ship and the final table stage was built atop the cruise ship's ice rink, but I think the 2008 Aruba Poker Classic will be the first poker tournament with a $1 million first prize to be played over water in its liquid form. Tomorrow will truly be an historic day.
